Dear Conference Registrant:

It is with deep regret, and out of respect for our students, families, teachers and others who support transition, that we have made the very difficult decision to cancel the Michigan Transition Services Association (MTSA) Annual Conference that was scheduled for March 14-16, 2022.

Rest assured, this decision was not made lightly. MTSA evaluated information we have been receiving from our members, state agencies, and other organizations. We recognize the challenges of staffing shortages, the inability to travel to a conference and lack of time during the school/business day. Coupled with the current status of Covid-19 and the CDC recommendations for large gatherings we determined that the safety and well-being of our membership is more important than holding an in-person conference.  

If you have made reservations at the Grand Traverse Resort and Spa, they will automatically cancel the room stays for you and no additional fees will be added to your account. If Conference registration has been paid, this will be refunded in the manner in which payment was submitted.

As always, MTSA is committed to serving the needs of our members. We will soon be announcing new and exciting virtual learning and networking opportunities for our members. The MTSA Board appreciates your continued support and understanding, while looking forward to serving our members and the greater community.
